The JDM Process

The planning process begins with a question. What type of home is right for your family? The JDM Modular Home Collection lets you pick the size and entry that meet your needs. Whether you are looking for a Ranch style home, a Cape Cod or a Two-Story, JDM has options that will match what you need.

Once you have selected your model, JDM will schedule a site visit and go through customization options with you. We work diligently to ensure that your new home is designed to your specification. We take your input on flooring, exteriors, kitchen, bathrooms, countertops, and more, to guarantee your future home is customized to your liking.

From start to finish, we keep a consistent timetable to make sure that your home is ready when you are. Our current lead-time on projects is currently 7-10 months compared to some competitor’s lead-times of 12-24 months.

Craftsman Capabilities

JDM Modular homes are built in a controlled construction environment with durable, American-made products and quality craftsmanship. All framing material is construction grade or better. Bridging, headers, corner bracing, nailing, and blocking will be in accordance with standard practices or as required by local codes. Hinged trusses are designed for your specific region and stamped with an engineer’s seal if required.

Our Modular homes have carefully crafted exterior details with your choice of siding, roofing, paint colors, shutters, front doors, and garage doors. Interiors come fully finished with painted wallboard, carpeting or tile, insulation, wiring and plumbing, cabinetry, countertops, and fixtures.
